Chef Pati Jinich will host a new PBS docuseries highlighting some of the foods, culture and history that make up “Panamericana,” with the first season focusing on areas of Alaska and Canada. 　　The series, called “Pati Jinich Explores Panamericana,” runs from April 29 to May 13. Jinich, a Mexican chef, TV host and cookbook author, travels to locations ranging between Alaska and Alberta in Season 1. Places like Juneau, Halibut Cove and Whitehorse will be featured.
